Born in Iran, Gelareh Khoie is an artist, writer, scholar, and DJ. Her artwork has been widely exhibited in group and solo exhibitions and has received numerous awards. She has curated multi-media art exhibitions, conceived and implemented creative arts and live music events, and she operated an art and music venue called thirtyninehotel in Honolulu, Hawaii.
