Rachel McKamey, M.A., is a doctoral candidate in the Depth Psychology program at Pacifica Graduate Institute. She lived and worked in China for five years then found herself in the field of health and wellness after experiencing debilitating chronic pelvic pain. Her dissertation is titled “The Depths of Desire: Women’s Erotic Embodiment in the Individuation Process,” and aims to bring women's voices to the forefront of their erotic experience. She lives in Asheville, NC with her three children and two dogs.
